Oops, I should have said 'not everybody'.
I was just a bit amazed by the OP's reaction.
And...I don't take your cutlery, as long as you pay for my
lunch....Although: (tanstafl: there ain't no such thing as a free lunch)
Thanks to Ron, then.

I have been associated with many newsgroups and generally they involve a lot
of nice people. I looked into this newsgroup because I am just getting
started with Photoshop. I am amazed at the nasty comments from many of you.
If you don't like a post you could always ignore it. Oops, I am sorry, that
would be the polite thing to do and this group does not sound like a polite
bunch. I will look for my information elsewhere thank you.

You said

We are use to people not even saying thanks.
I have more than once went as far as sending files to peole without
being thanked. Recently I helped a lady in another group sorting out
problems on her PC and after 2 days she simply confirmed everything is
well, and simply disapeared with also nothing more than 'thanks'.
Somehow we get use to it but also become less helpfull.
Bedankt voor je reactie en beste van geluk

Here Carlo, is another example. Gigi peeped in here, opened this same
thread, and she saw this lots of tutorial URL's. Being new to
Photoshop, this is a treasure chest (in fact it is). She copied it and
only said a few nasty words without any thank you.
She'll come back, maybe with another name, more probably she will keep
on lurking.

No, you may not ask, because it is a stupid question.
I answered myself on that the moment I wrote it.
Of course I simply expect a few more words after 2 days help
than only one word 'thanks'.
You sound a bit down hearted because I pointed out to Carlo he should
thank Ron as well because originally it was his post. Why?
