Tiff header extraction

I'd like to extract the TIFF header from Photoshop and load the technical
metadata into another database, is there a way of doing this? Thanks.

When you refer to "technical metadata", do you mean the IPTC data or the
image size/resolution or something else? I'm sure you don't need to go
through Photoshop for that. You could use Perl with the Image::Info package.
