Normally, when I see "I've just discovered..." my first thought is
"Spam from the developer!". The source (slightly rotund Sam), though,
indicates that something of use *was* actually discovered.

LOL. Still a little bit more than slightly rotund. In fact, still rather too
much on the round side for my liking, but I'm getting there.

Further evidence that I'm not the developer can be found in the fact that I
didn't post a link to the software.
I just happened to find it when I was digging through my old backup CD's,
and I have absolutely no memory of where I might have downloaded it from.

That and the fact that I wouldn't have the first idea of how to write an
application like that. I'd get as far as making a pot of coffee, and writing
down a list of *things to do*, then I'd go off to play Yahoo Pool instead.

As an experiment, I hada bit of a play with this one.
I loaded one of my photos into it. A Jpeg of a nice sunset, and set it to
work on it.
It took about an hour of intensive processing to convert one file, and the
resulting DXF file was over 170mb. The original Jpeg was only 2mb.
I suppose it might have soem usefull applications, but with those sort of
results, they'd be fairly limited in my opinion.

Admittedly, this was a very large Jpeg.
