I am starting a new website that will be dedicated to Photoshop
Elements users and digital photography. I have just recently put it on-
line and hope to generate some interest. An on-line Forum and Photo
Gallery are available as well as plans to incorporate video technique
tutorials in the near future.

Knowledge and information are power and the more resources we have the
better.

Hope to see some experts drop in to share their techniques and
experience, as well as some beginners who are interested in learning
what Photoshop Elements has to offer.

John:
I've only worked with SmartCurve for a short while, but am very pleased with
it so far. I particularly like the fact that is displays a dynamic image of
the photograph, a graph that relates input and output levels, and a
histogram all in the same window. I encourage you to give it a try.

I like the style of your tutorials.
Simple, clean, efficient and easy to read.
This site deserves to do really well.

Will Elements allow me to batch-resize all my pictures (different
sizes, now) by zooming in/out without cropping? I need this for
printing by photolabs.. Thanks.

Tony, I cannot get Irfan View to do what need. It will resize &
keep the aspect ratio, but it will not fit the whole picture, no
matter what the sides are, within the 4x6 rectangle. I need the
largest picture I can fit within a rectangle: This means that
either side will be at its maximum. Thanks.

After many hours of trying programs and searching the internet and
my Photoshop's help files, I have got a solution and I share it
here the way I was hoping to have received it:
-Photoshop CS2 will do it!
1. open any picture
2. Actions palette
3. New Action (give it a name)
4. hit Record
5. File/Automate/Fit Image (fill out maximum sizes)
6. Save As (your Production file name)
7. Stop the recording
8. File/Automate/Batch/Production/your file name
9. OK (go get a cup of coffee, if you have many pictures).
In addition, I could not see any loss in quality.
Thank you all. Cheers,
-gA
