Post subject: PSD to JPEG lightening
Archived from groups: alt>graphics>photoshop (more info?)

Whenever I save for the web (i.e. as a jpeg) the image becomes considerable
lighter in tonality. Therefore, I always have to go back and make the image
I am looking at in photoshop much darker and more contrasty than the final
image looks as the jpeg. Is there any plugin or action which solves this
problem. Ideally I would like to adjust the image until it looks
appropriate/perfect in photoshop and then apply either an action or
something to create a comparable jpeg. I know the color spaces are
different, etc. but it seems someone may have found a solution out there.

Thanks in advance
Tim

Thanks, but the images are already in sRGB that is why I am stumped.
