The results of sharpening depend on the image data. There is no one
method that will work in all cases. Therefore the best way of sharpening
something is to try the sharpening methods you know of, compare the
results and choose the best one. There is also a limit to how much an
image can be sharpened. If it's very blurry to start with you will never
get it sharp looking without extensive post work that goes beyond mere
filter use.
