When loading a JPG and comparing it to its original BMP I noticed the color has
changed. These 2 pics in other programs look identical. PS Elements seems to be
changing the colors in the JPEG version.

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

PS Elements is doing color management. Learn how that works. Smile

When you create a JPG compressed file you have a lot of choices to make that
can affect quality of the result. One of those choices is the color depth
and you probably have that set too low. Without more specifics on your
settings that's about all I can say.

I thought there might be something on calibration... this program is relatively
new to me... and I just changed to an LCD monitor as well!

Thanks for the advice.
