as advised try renaming them (remove.orig make sure the file ending is
recognizable as .jpg)
using a Mac??
Windows will question you if you try to rename with bad file endings
and if the Apple OS renamed them funny they will not open w/o the correct
ending after the dots on a Windoz comp
I notice many Mac users send me files similarly and incorrectly named
I am thinking the renaming features and the way the systems use the files
are not similar
I can think of a few instances
A Mac OS will send two files for each image, one will look blank to Win
users one will be the image file
A mac made CD named all the files beginning with _ an unrecognizable
character on some CD programs in Windoz (these did open on another Win comp
with diff CD reader)
My Mac user friend sends me files like mypicture.zip.#1 which will not open
unless properly re-named to mypicture.zip
>> Stay informed about: JPG.ORIG
