When I load an image into Photoshop CS2, it gets much more yellow on the
screen than it really is. So after correcting the colors in Photoshop, the
image is too blue when viewed outside Photoshop. Before I used Paintshop,
and I never had that problem. Does anyone know the reason and what tot do
about it?
Thanks,
W.H.

Your display profile is screwed up. Run Adobe Gamma again, this time
choosing the correct monitor white point.

Hi.

You could be making a very large assumption about which set of diplayed
colours are correct.

Have you had your Monitor Calibrated and Profiled ??

Is Colour Management turned on in Photoshop ??

And if so, is Photoshop using an incorrect Profile as its Monitor Profile
??

Do have a read in the "Help" files about Colour Management.

The previous advice on a color monitor is the best, but I'm reminded of an
argument over color that I had with my younger son--a professional
photojournalist--about the color of some of his photographs. It turned out
that the problem was my early cataracts.
