You can't. The JPEG file format forbids transparency. You simply can not
make a trasparent JPEG.
You can use GIF, or PNG with alpha transparency (though it will not show
up in some browsers), or merge the image with its background and save it
as a non-transparent JPEG. But if oyu absolutely, positively have to
have a transparent JPEG, you are out of luck. It's time to go back and
re-think your Web page design.
